Channeling and Autowriting
Channeling and Autowriting
Automatic writing
Automatic writing, also known as “autowriting” or “psychography,” is a process where a person writes without consciously controlling the content. It is often believed to be guided by a spiritual entity, higher self, or the subconscious mind, depending on the context in which it is used.
How Automatic Writing Works
Preparation
The practitioner typically begins by entering a relaxed or meditative state. This can involve deep breathing, grounding exercises, or focusing on a specific intention. Some people may ask for guidance from a spiritual being, like an angel or spirit guide, while others might simply clear their mind.
Opening Up
The person attempts to let go of conscious control over the writing process. They hold a pen or position their hands over a keyboard and allow their hand to move freely. The key is to let the words flow without overthinking or trying to direct what comes out.
Writing
As the hand begins to move, words, sentences, or even symbols may start to appear. The practitioner may or may not understand what they are writing as it happens. Sometimes the messages seem nonsensical at first, while other times, they might be more coherent.
Interpretation
After the writing session, the practitioner reviews what has been written. This is often the moment when meaning begins to emerge. Depending on the purpose, the writings might be messages from a higher realm, guidance on a particular issue, or even creative inspiration from the subconscious.

Channelling
Channeling is the process of receiving and conveying messages or energy from non-physical entities, such as spirits, angels, higher consciousness, or other spiritual beings. The person acting as a channel, sometimes called a “medium,” allows their consciousness to connect with a higher source, often receiving information, guidance, or healing energy.
How Channeling Works
Preparation
Like automatic writing, channeling often begins with preparation. The channeler might enter a meditative or trance state, quieting their mind and raising their energetic vibration to align with the spiritual being they intend to connect with. Some may invoke protection or call upon specific guides or angels before beginning.
Tuning In
The channeler tunes in to the frequency of the spiritual being or energy they wish to connect with. This can feel like raising their awareness to a higher state of consciousness, where they are more receptive to subtle impressions, thoughts, or energies.
Communication
The channeler then communicates the messages they receive. This can happen verbally, in writing, or even through art or movement. The channel may act as a translator, interpreting the impressions into coherent messages, or they might allow the entity to speak directly through them, often changing their tone or mannerisms.
Ending the Session
After the channeling session, the channeler will often ground themselves and consciously disconnect from the spiritual energy or entity. They may reflect on the information received and share it with others if appropriate.
Receiving Messages
Once the connection is made, the channeler begins to receive messages. These messages can come in various forms
Clairvoyance : Seeing visions or images in the mind’s eye.
Clairaudience : Hearing words, sounds, or voices that are not physically present.
Clairsentience : Feeling emotions, sensations, or energy from the spiritual being.
Telepathic Thought Transfer : The channeler might experience a "knowing" where thoughts or concepts are directly transmitted into their mind.

Types of Channeling :-
1. Conscious Channeling : In this form, the channeler remains aware and in control of their body and mind while receiving and transmitting messages. They often describe it as feeling like a flow of information coming through them, which they consciously interpret.
2. Trance Channeling : In this deeper form of channeling, the channeler may enter a trance state and allow the spiritual entity to speak directly through them. The channeler might not be consciously aware of what is being communicated, and they may have little to no memory of the session afterward.
3. Energy Channeling : Instead of messages, some channelers focus on transmitting healing energy or spiritual frequencies. This is often seen in practices like Reiki or other energy healing modalities, where the channeler acts as a conduit for healing energies from a higher source.

Important Considerations :-
- Trust and Intuition :- Channelers often emphasize the importance of trusting their intuition and the messages they receive. It requires practice to distinguish between genuine spiritual guidance and personal thoughts or ego interference.
- Discernment :- Not all entities or energies are benevolent, so many channelers practice discernment and protection techniques to ensure they are connecting with beings of light and love.
- Practice :- Like any spiritual practice, channeling takes time and patience to develop. Regular practice can improve the clarity and accuracy of the messages received.

Applications of Channeling :-
- Spiritual Guidance :- Channelers may use their abilities to provide guidance on life’s challenges, spiritual growth, and other matters.
- Healing :- In energy healing modalities, channeling is often used to transmit healing energies for physical, emotional, or spiritual well-being.
- Creativity :- Some artists, musicians, and writers use channeling to receive inspiration and creative ideas from higher sources.
Overall, channeling is seen as a way to access knowledge, healing, or inspiration beyond the physical plane, connecting the individual with spiritual energies or beings for personal and collective benefit.
